Crimson Earth: What is it?

Crimson Earth is a Internet-based literature series of two page-long chapters, contributed to by various people around the world. It is an entirely international, collaborative effort, and Crimson Earth has received contributions from individuals in Japan, Finland, and Germany.

I started the series some time back when writing in Oaxaca, Mexico. I had my trusty pen and a notebook, and two books were filled with notes in the span of one month. My goal hadn’t evolved into how big it has become now. I initially thought it had potential but I felt I would publish it as I have anything else. However, after some encouragement from a few friends and international people, I decided it had far more of a future with the help of others.

I centered the story around a post-apocalyptic world where nuclear war has destroyed nearly all life and the so-called “leaders” consume themselves in their evil. Nord and Web, the two soldiers from Camp 19, are the focus in the first three chapters. They serve to usher the story’s background, environment, and give a general outlook on what things look like altogether. The fourth chapter brings in a new character as Nord and Web were both ambushed and killed by the Gauntlet while on patrol. Crimson Earth has six full chapters so far, with many more on the way.

What I envision is a bridge between one country and many. The fact that I have had ideas, character sketches, and write-ups from across the globe can attest to how this story can come together with cooperation. I can’t be motivated long enough to keep up with this, so I need the help of everyone else out there. Please visit the Requests page to contact me personally or other Wallryder staff.

Thank you all!

–Humbly,
